Once hailed Indian attire, Saree which had been in a lull for a while is back in vogue again. The comeback with revival of its lost charm can not only be felt in India but across the globe. There exists cultural variation to the drape among various regions in India itself, however the well known drape is the ‘Navi’ drape where a portion of the saree is fastened to the in-skirt, another is pleated and tucked in the center between the legs while the rest of the saree goes around to cover the bosom running over the shoulder. This is most common form of saree that is known to the population as a whole.
