This blue Kanchipuram silk saree carries floral buttas across the body, set against a contrast orange border woven with peacock vines. Gold zari traces the motifs with quiet precision. The pallu opens into rich criss cross checks brocade, a study in measured detail. The contrast border is built through the korvai technique, where body and border are interlocked on the loom by two weavers working in tandem.
